These are no ordinary girls, but the children of the rice goddess. There’s an old saying that “seven gods live in a grain of rice”—just that’s what these sisters are! Their mother, the rice-god queen, was suddenly summoned back to the celestial realm and can’t return to Earth.
Now these seven sisters have set out to find their mother. Their main base is in Usa City (Oita Prefecture), and from there they teleport to Hachiman shrines throughout Kyushu Island. Along the way, they solve local problems, learn about food and drink, and engage in wild “cooking battles.”
