She comes to the Kanto region to join Indigo Academy to become a successful Pokémon trainer. Early on, she meets “Nyahoja”—a capricious grass cat who lives in her own world. But the real twist comes when Liko’s grandmother gives her a sparkling pendant, saying, “Son, this will protect you.”
But, brother, a dirty group called “The Explorers” is after this pendant. Thankfully, a guy named Friday arrives just in time on his flying lizard (Charizard) and saves Liko. This Friday is the leader of a group called the “Rising Volt Tacklers.”
