It was the first year of middle school, during autumn season, when our hero Arata Kouda meets Kujima. Kujima is not a human, but a strange creature that looks a bit like a bird. Kujima was very hungry, so Arata thought, let's take the poor fellow to his home and feed him something. But brother, the real fun begins when they reach home. Arata's older brother had already heated up the atmosphere at home by failing his exams, and Kujima took advantage of this situation to become the head of the Kouda family. He decided to "freeload" (get free food) there. He said he would stay until winter passed and leave as soon as spring arrived, but it doesn't seem like he'll be leaving so easily!
