Meet Okuto Nakamura, a very timid and slightly gloomy boy. He only loves two things in the world: his pet octopus and a very cute girl in his class, Aiki Hirose. Nakamura has liked Hirose from afar since the day school started, but the problem is that he has zero “social skills,” so he’s never been able to talk to her.
Finally, with great difficulty, he musters up the courage to talk to Hirose. But brother, in their very first meeting, by a stroke of fate, he does something that makes a friendship impossible, and he becomes a laughingstock to Hirose. Now, at school, there are many group projects and work to be done together, which gives Nakamura the opportunity to spend time with Hirose. Will Nakamura be able to correct his past mistakes? Will he be able to become Hirose’s friend, or will everything remain a joke?
