Brother, this is the story of a boy named Rudd, whom no one wants to include in their adventure team. People call him the “Grubby Forager” because he smells bad—and this smell is because he’s constantly searching for herbs in the poisonous desert of the “Noxious Labyrinth.” He survives there only because he has a special skill to avoid poison.
Well, with great difficulty he gets a job as a “porter” (baggage carrier) in a party, but this happiness doesn’t last long. A dangerous monster attacks him, and his companions flee, leaving him to face death. Injured and alone, Rudd makes an unforgettable mistake to stay alive: he starts eating monsters! But the twist is, the more monsters he eats, the more his strength increases. From here begins Rudd’s wild and exciting journey!
